When you read a message, it will show blue tick mark to the other party who has sent you the message, if you want that it should not be seen like as if you have not read the message, then follow this here: Click on the Settings--> Account-->Privacy--> then, scroll down--> click--> Read Receipts this will turn off it, so the next time you read a message it will not show blue tick for others, this will happen even for other numbers.
If you want to know which group or which contact is taking your lot of space, then follow as shown in the picture.
If you want to know who has read your message in a group, then hold your message for a while, then three dots will appear at the right side, click it. There will come 'info', click it, you can see who has read the message and to whom has the message been delivered only.
